A tapestry finds it’s beauty not in individual strands, but in the coming together of multiple threads, each unique in purpose, looped and tangled and pulled to create beauty.

We are each a strand in a wide tapestry of life and when we hold ourselves back, ignoring the fact we were created to be sown together, than the tapestry of life is broken. There are holes where there should not be. There are weak strands where there should not be. The tapestry is worn thin in areas it should not be. The tapestry is incomplete, when it doesn’t have to be.

What if, instead of holding ourselves back from being woven in, we allowed our story to form part of the wider story? What if we decided to mend instead of break? What if we decided to give instead of take? What if we saw each other as we should- as human beings?

Thread Harvest aims to mend what is broken. The fashion industry doesn’t have to be the second most polluting industry in the world. It doesn’t have to exploit workers in factories, it doesn’t have to destroy the environment. The fashion industry can be the empowering industry it’s meant to be if we, as the consumers, choose to sow our money better.

By choosing brands who source ethically and create sustainable products, we are allowing ourselves to be woven into the story of solution instead of being the cause of the problem.

Our commitment is to bring you the best the world has to offer in ethical and sustainable brands through a great shopping experience. We are for the conscientious shoppers, change-makers who care about both style and substance, and who embrace higher virtues of empathy, respect and compassion.

If that’s you, then we invite you to join us. Lend your thread to be woven into the wider tapestry of life and together we can create a masterpiece of change.
