With our scarce resources being depleted and our lush ecosystems being polluted, ECO ATROPHY's art exhibition at Spaces x SparknShop Presents: Wellness Market will motivate us all to think about what changes we can make in our daily lives to reduce our carbon footprint and create a greener future.
Tanja Wessels and Alex Macro see art and environmental activism in the same light. In 2018 the activist and photographer teamed up on a project on plastic waste, which has since turned into an ongoing collaboration, ECO ATROPHY, focusing on the climate crisis playing out in our lifetimes, plastic oceans, species loss, disappearing nature; with every new shoot the scope and vision grows. As our piles of waste continue to rise unabated, so does the project. Check out more from www.tanjawessels.com and www.alexmacro.com.
