Hong Kong

June 06, 2019

EDiversity is formed by a group of parents and individuals who are concerned with the development of Hong Kong education. The over-emphasis on competition, all round excellence, and making the grades to universities, have driven education to becoming a highly stressed endeavour that is often demotivating, and straining the mental and physical well-being of all education stakeholders, and family relationships.

As parents, we want to spark rethinking about education in the community, in particular among parents and teachers. Through showcasing possibilities in education, we want to inspire rethinking and a collective action in making sensible educational choices for our children, based on a core value of respecting their needs and diversity.
