If you are disabled in Hong Kong, you are twice as likely to live in relative poverty
EDUCATION + WORK EXPERIENCE = REAL JOBS
After six years of training and experience at our social enterprises, a number of our learners and staff with learning disabilities have aspirations to start their own business. This is true empowerment and we are delighted to support them in the form of a self-employment model social enterprise self-contained coffee van!
We have secured the first location for the Nest Coffee Van with our friends and supporter UBS bank in IFC Central. This provides the ideal community location and supported environment to launch and showcase this self-employment model social enterprise.
Our existing Nest Coffee Shops, staffed by individuals with learning disabilities, are well known for friendly service and the quality of the coffee, freshly roasted in Hong Kong by an awarding winning blender. So we are excited to share our expertise and unique experience in this new location too.
Please help support this great endeavour by donating towards the coffee van and coffee machine now.
Thank you in advance for making this dream come true!
