Today is World Toilet Day, an annual global event organized by UN Water to raise awareness of the crucial role that sanitation plays in reducing disease and creating healthier communities. The WTD 2019 theme, "Leaving No One Behind," emphasizes the importance of expanding sanitation access to the more than 4.2 billion people living without safely managed sanitation options.

We also have 10 days left in our crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for shipping soap to those affected by flooding in southern Laos. Annually, poor sanitation and hygiene problems cause three million disease cases in Lao and 6.000 premature deaths. Thank you for being a Soaper Hero!
